• Day 6 : Where is God and should we always "feel" him ?

In the "Our Father," Jesus continues "who art in heaven."

It seems obvious, but it is not. First of all, it is a good thing to always realize that it is only through the blood of Jesus that we can enter the 'most holy place', as Eph. 2:13 says : "But now in Christ Jesus, you who were formerly distant, you were brought together by the blood of Christ. As also Heb. 10: 19-20 : "Therefore, brethren, since by the blood of Jesus we have a free entrance into the sanctuary by the new and living way which it has inaugurated for us through the veil; That is, of his flesh ... ".

The Father is in heaven. It is true that by the Holy Spirit he dwells in us, but he is nevertheless 'in heaven'. 10: 19-20 : "Therefore, brethren, since by the blood of Jesus we have a free entrance into the sanctuary by the new and living way which it has inaugurated for us through the veil; That is, of his flesh ... ".

But the Father is in heaven, and we are on earth and through the blood of Jesus, in spirit we have 'free access' to the Father. Whether we feel it or not. In fact, there is a real danger in trying to 'feel' something. Without realizing it, we can easily switch to the realm of the soul, our feelings and our emotions, but God seeks worshipers 'in spirit' (John 4:23).

Our soul can help us, but true prayer and true worship are made in the spirit. And that, we do not 'feel' it always! It does not mean that no manifestations (trembling, heat, oil in hands, smells, gold nuggets, feathers, roars, falling backwards, etc.) come from God, there is still a great danger In that kind of thing.

Simply because all of this often distracts us from the goal of entering the Holy of Holies through the blood of Jesus and appearing before the Father's Throne by focusing on such glorious manifestations As they may be, here on earth.

It takes a certain maturity to make discernment between the peace that God gives in our inner being, and the feelings, emotions, that we can feel or not when we pray.

When we begin our prayer with 'Our Father, who is in heaven', this gives us the right representation. Simply because all of this often distracts us from the goal of entering the Holy of Holies through the blood of Jesus and appearing before the Father's Throne by focusing on such glorious manifestations As they may be, here on earth.

He is in heaven, we are on earth. The joy of being in his presence must always go hand in hand with the fear of God. Psalm 2:11 says : "Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling." The two things must always go together.

We will now look at the next aspect: 'Thy Name be glorified'.

"Thank you Lord, that I have free access to the Father, that I may enter the 'Holy of Holies' through the blood of Jesus. Help me to seek you first in spirit, give me a discernment to recognize what comes from the soul and what comes from the spirit, in the name of Jesus, amen."
