The people of God are facing an important issue in these last days. Do you believe that God is able to help you overcome everything when the foundations of the world are shaken ? Satan roars like a mad lion, and everywhere there is confusion, violence and uncertainty.

Those who trust in the Lord, who place and trust in Him, will stand firm and see the salvation of God - with a heart and mind totally at peace. They will enjoy rest, spared by violence and fear, and sleep without fearing the circumstances that surround them, rejoicing in hope !

The Lord asked two blind men who begged Him to have mercy and to heal them : "Do you believe that I can do this ?" (Matthew 9:28). When they answered in the affirmative, their eyes opened (see verse 29).

And today, the Lord asks us : "Do you believe that I am able to direct you and guide you ? Do you believe that I am still at work for your good ? Or do you hide secret thoughts that I rejected you and let you down ?"

Several verses of Scripture should bring great comfort and assurance to our hearts :

• "He who entrusts himself to the Lord is protected" (Proverbs 29:25).
• "Those who trust in the Lord are like the mountain of Zion ; it does not stumble, it is steadfast forever" (Psalm 125: 1).
• "At all times, people, trust in him ... God is our refuge" (Psalms 62: 8).

The Word of God is filled with glorious promises for all who trust in Him! We continue to want to do things, to give up things, to sacrifice, to work and to suffer. And, all this time, what He desires most is total confidence. His Word is clear : what pleases God is only our faith : "But without faith it is impossible to please him ; for he who comes to God must believe that God exists, and that he is the rewarder of those who seek him" (Hebrews 11: 6).
