The children of God can be full of boldness. Consider what the Word teaches you about it. "It is by faith that Moses, at birth, was hidden for three months by his parents. They had indeed seen that the child was beautiful, and they were not afraid of the order of the king" (Hebrews 11:23). Think about what that meant. The Egyptian nation and Pharaoh's chief had declared it illegal to keep a male Hebrew baby. The law wanted these children to be killed at birth. The soldiers were responsible for executing this order. What terror and what suffering must have been !

Moses came into the world. These parents looked at this adorable son and knew that they could not kill him, that they could never do such an act. They decided to defy the law and hide the baby. "It's by faith... they were not afraid." The executors of the law were close, and they heard the sound of their footsteps stopping at their door to remove the child's life.

Who would not feel faint if armed men waited, having been ordered to kill their babies, and yet, "they were not afraid." Why ? Were they inhuman, insensitive. No, they were very good parents. One reason explained why they were not panicked : they trusted God. That's right, the situation was impossible. Their faith seemed naive, insane. But the situation was exactly the one that allowed God to boast : to take pleasure in doing the impossible.

Faith is the answer to impossible situations. Faith is not only polishing what is possible, if it were so, it would not be faith. The most powerful remedy in the universe is the arm of God. Some believe God only when it comes to doing something "reasonable", something that can be controlled. But as Paul wrote, "We do not trust in our condition" (Philippians 3: 3), that is, in our dimensions.
