"Jaebets invoked the God of Israel, saying, If you bless me and extend my limits, if your hand is with me, and you keep me from misfortune, so that I am not in suffering. ... And God granted what he had asked." 1 Chronicles 4.10

Jaebets asked God to remove misfortune so as not to remain in suffering.

The Bible says : "Misfortune often affects the just, but the Lord always delivers it." Psalms 34.20

Start looking at the future from God's point of view ...

Jesus also said : "In the world you will have to suffer many afflictions. But courage ! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

He said : "I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. I will not leave you orphans, but I will come to you." John 14: 16-18

Your life has not been free from suffering, sorrow, pain and tears, but I would like to tell you today that you are not alone. By the Holy Spirit, who is the divine Comforter, Jesus stands close to you.

Perhaps you are in great pain right now ? God wants to heal your broken heart, to console you, so that you do not remain in suffering. Start looking at the future from God's point of view ... Your situation may change, your relationships may change, your children may change, your marriage may change, your finances may change, your health may change.

God has the power to change everything. He is the Almighty !

See with me how the story of Jaebets ends : "And God granted what he had asked !"

God is with you. He is at your side and everything is possible for him. This is the encouragement I want to leave you today.

A prayer for today

My God, thank you because in my suffering you are with me and you are very close to me. I believe the best is in front of me and that everything can change. I trust in you, O Lord, and ask you, as your promise promises, to deliver me from misfortune (Psalm 34:19). Amen.

Jaebets a demandé à Dieu d'éloigner le malheur afin de ne pas rester dans la souffrance.

Jésus a également dit : “Dans le monde, vous aurez à souffrir bien des afflictions. Mais courage ! Moi, j’ai vaincu le monde.” Jean 16.33

Il a encore  dit : “Et moi, je prierai le Père, et il vous donnera un autre consolateur, afin qu'il demeure éternellement avec vous... Je ne vous laisserai pas orphelins, je viendrai à vous”. Jean 14.16­-18

Votre vie n'a pas été exempte de souffrances, de peines, de douleurs et de larmes, mais je voudrais vous dire aujourd’hui que vous n'êtes pas seul(e). Par le Saint­-Esprit, qui est le divin consolateur, Jésus se tient tout près de vous.

Peut-être êtes-vous en grande souffrance en ce moment ? Dieu veut guérir votre cœur brisé, vous consoler, en sorte que vous ne restiez pas dans la souffrance. Commencez à regarder l’avenir du point de vue de Dieu… Votre situation peut changer, vos relations peuvent changer, vos enfants peuvent changer, votre mariage peut changer, vos finances peuvent changer, votre santé peut changer.

Dieu a le pouvoir de tout changer. Il est le Tout-Puissant !

Regardez avec moi comment se termine le récit sur Jaebets : “Et Dieu accorda ce qu’il  avait demandé ! ”

Dieu est avec vous. Il est à vos côtés et tout lui est possible. C'est l’encouragement que je veux vous laisser aujourd’hui.

Mon Dieu, merci parce que dans ma souffrance tu es avec moi et tu es tout près de moi. Je crois que le meilleur est devant moi et que tout peut changer. Je mets ma confiance en toi, Seigneur, et te demande, comme le promet ta Parole, de me délivrer du malheur (Psaumes 34.19). Amen.

Sin inaongeza kwa utata wa maisha. Badala ya kukiri, sisi mara nyingi kujaribu kujificha chini ya dhambi mbalimbali. Mambo kuwa ngumu sana !

Dhambi maana yake ni "kukosa Lengo". Kila wakati miss lengo na si kazi kama Mungu matakwa, wewe kufanya maisha yako ngumu zaidi.

Bathsheba alipata mimba baada ya uhusiano wake na David. Ni walijaribu kufunika dhambi zake kwa kutuma kwa Uria, mume wake, ambaye alikuwa katika vita. Alitaka Uriah kuwa na mahusiano na Bathsheba hivyo wanafikiri mtoto alikuwa wake. Lakini Uria alikataa kulala na mke wake.

"The next morning David wrote a letter to Joab and asked Uriah to hand it over to him. In this letter he wrote : Place Urie in the front line, where the fighting is the hardest, then pull back Be touched and die !" 2 Samuel 11: 14-15

Sin adds to the complexity of life. Instead of confessing it, it is often sought to conceal it under another sin. Things then become very complicated !

Fish means "missing the target". Whenever you miss the target by not acting as God wills, you make your life more complicated.

Bath-Sheba became pregnant as a result of her relationship with David. The latter tried to cover his fault by sending for Urie, her husband, who was in the war. He wanted Uriah to have relations with Bath-Sheba so that they thought the child was his. But Uriah refused to sleep with his wife.

Then David had to commit another sin to cover the first. He placed Urie in the front line of the fight, where the probability of his killing was very high. David thought that once the husband of Bath-Sheba died, he would not have to answer for his sin of adultery before anyone.

Action for Today

Instead of trying to camouflage your sin, go and confess it to God. He promised to forgive you. Act according to the will of God, so that your life may be simple and peaceful.

Le péché ajoute à la complexité de la vie. Au lieu de le confesser, on cherche souvent à le dissimuler sous un autre péché. Les choses deviennent alors très compliquées !

Bath-Chéba devint enceinte suite à sa relation avec David. Celui-ci tenta de couvrir sa faute en envoyant chercher Urie, son mari, qui était à la guerre. Il voulait qu’Urie ait des relations avec Bath-Chéba pour qu’ils pensent que l’enfant était le sien. Mais Urie refusa de coucher avec sa femme.

David dut alors commettre un autre péché pour couvrir le premier. Il fit placer Urie en première ligne du combat, où la probabilité qu’il soit tué était très forte. David songea qu’une fois le mari de Bath-Chéba mort, il n’aurait à répondre de son péché d’adultère devant personne.

Une action pour aujourd’hui
Au lieu de chercher à camoufler votre péché, allez le confesser à Dieu. Il a promis de vous pardonner. Agissez selon la volonté de Dieu, afin que votre vie soit simple et paisible.

Bwana anaweza kushawishi maisha yako, na mabadiliko ya hali ya historia, hata kama ingekuwa kwenda kupitia wakati mgumu. Anangoja wakati kuongeza sauti yako na wewe kuifanya nafsi zao mbele ya kiti cha neema kwa waomba msaada wake.

"For he saith, and the thing cometh, and commands, and it is." Psalms 33.9

The Bible is, among other things, a book composed of miraculous stories. It is incredible to see all these divine interventions : the Red Sea that opens in two, the sick healed instantly, the victories won in a prodigious and spectacular way, and so on. Yes, obviously, our Lord is a wonderful God.

The action of God goes hand in hand with his will.

The miracle takes place when God acts on something that would never have happened in a normal way without a divine action. Sometimes the Lord breaks a natural law or not. Let us cite the example in which Jesus walked on the water, the other where an ass prophesied, and so on. He also ordered the storm to calm down, although it might later have gone away from herself without her miraculous intervention.

It does not matter if a natural law has been broken or not ... Pray that God will act with power in your life. Throw yourself, by prayer, into divine plans so that the Lord will trigger the miracles you need to enter your destiny. "He says and the thing happens, it commands and it exists". The Lord is able to influence your life, to change the course of your story, even if you go through terrible times. He expects you to raise your voice and spread your soul before the throne of grace to invoke his help.

To see God act, you must put his plans before yours. This is an unavoidable condition. The action of God goes hand in hand with his will. The prodigies take place when you accomplish his projects. This is the unique and indispensable key to freeing the miraculous in your life.

A prayer for today

Lord, I desire to return to your plans, in your promises. I realize that when I obey you, I enter a life of miracles, amen.

"Car il dit, et la chose arrive ; Il ordonne, et elle existe." Psaumes 33.9

La Bible est, entre autres, un livre composé de récits miraculeux. C’est incroyable de voir toutes ces interventions divines : la mer Rouge qui s’ouvre en deux, les malades guéris instantanément, les victoires remportées de manière prodigieuse et spectaculaire, etc. Oui, de toute évidence, notre Seigneur est un Dieu merveilleux.

Le miracle a lieu lorsque Dieu agit sur quelque chose qui ne se serait jamais produit de façon normale, sans une action divine. Parfois, le Seigneur enfreint une loi naturelle ou pas. Citons l’exemple où Jésus marcha sur l’eau, l’autre où un âne prophétisa, etc. Il ordonna aussi à la tempête de se calmer alors qu’elle aurait pu s’éloigner plus tard d’elle-même, sans son intervention cependant miraculeuse.

Peu importe qu’une loi naturelle ait été transgressée ou non… Priez pour que Dieu agisse avec puissance dans votre vie. Jetez-vous, par la prière, dans les plans divins afin que le Seigneur déclenche les miracles dont vous avez besoin pour entrer dans votre destinée. "Il dit et la chose arrive, il ordonne et elle existe". L’Éternel est capable d’influer sur votre vie, de changer le cours de votre histoire, quand bien même vous passeriez par des temps terribles. Il attend que vous éleviez votre voix et que vous répandiez votre âme devant le trône de la grâce pour invoquer son secours.

Pour voir Dieu agir, vous devez mettre ses plans avant les vôtres. C’est une condition incontournable. L’action de Dieu va de paire avec sa volonté. Les prodiges ont lieu lorsque vous accomplissez ses projets. C’est la clé unique et indispensable pour libérer le miraculeux dans votre vie.

Une prière pour aujourd’hui

Seigneur, je désire rentrer dans tes projets, dans tes promesses. Je réalise que lorsque je t’obéis, je rentre dans une vie de miracles, amen.

Hizi mikate na samaki unaweza kuwakilisha michango yetu mara nyingi mdogo.

Mungu anatuita kuishi maisha tajiri katika matendo mema.

Ni anatoa sisi kufanya kazi nzuri ni "huruma." Yesu akamwonea huruma. Kama wewe ni kushiriki katika benki ya chakula, kama wewe kufundisha shule ya Jumapili au kama kuongoza sifa na kujisikia kama wanafunzi kwa mkate wao na samaki wachache, kuhimizwa leo. Kama Mungu amekuita kazi tayari mapema, pia kuzidisha mikate yako na samaki yako ili kikamilifu ufanisi kulisha umati njaa.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven ..." Matthew 5: 13-16

It is God who has formed us ; He created us, in our union with Jesus Christ, that we should lead a life rich in good deeds, which he had prepared beforehand for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).

These loaves and fish can represent our gifts, which are often very limited.

God calls us to lead a life rich in good deeds.

What drives us to do good works is "compassion". Jesus was moved with compassion. The Bible says : "Jesus called his disciples, and said," I am moved with compassion for this multitude : for three days they are with me, and have nothing to eat. "The disciples And said to them, "How can we procure enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd ?" Jesus asked them, "How many loaves do you have ?" (Matthew 15: 32-39 ). Thus, with only seven loaves and a few fish, the disciples nurtured an immense crowd ... Even seven baskets filled with the remaining pieces would be carried away !

These loaves and fish can represent our gifts, which are often very limited. God has the ability to multiply them in order to help people around us. If you are involved in a food bank, if you teach Sunday school or if you direct the praise and feel like these followers with their loaves and some fish, be encouraged today. If God has called you for works prepared beforehand, he will also multiply your loaves and fish so that you are fully effective in feeding a hungry crowd.

However, do you know what upsets me the most when I read this passage ? It is to see the Son of God moved with compassion. He is moved with compassion because he sees before him a hungry crowd.

What feelings do we feel when faced with a spiritually starved society ? Are we moved by compassion? Our young girls are captivated by hyper-sexualization and all its terrible consequences. The rate of suicide is constantly increasing. Anxiety is the disease of the century. Our elderly people die in solitude. Let us not remain inactive in the face of so much suffering. It is this compassion that will push us to action !

Martin Luther King once said : "Everyone can accomplish great things because everybody can serve, you do not need a university degree to serve, you just need a heart full of grace Of a soul regenerated by love ..."

Action for Today

Do not look at your loaves and your fish. Today, dare to make a gesture that will bring joy in a person's life. You might be surprised at the result !
