"God does not favoritism." Romans 2.11

As a child, when I was out of school, I used to drive my comrades in front of their homes so that they could have lunch there. Once this task was accomplished, I would go behind the supermarket in our neighborhood to make the trash. Quite often, searching through the garbage for a bunch of cakes or something I could have eaten, I wondered : "Why did my friends have enough to eat and not me ?"

God is sovereign and chooses who he wants to accomplish what he desires.

And you ? Do you ever fail to understand why something happens to you when others do not ? For what reasons life seems to smile more at some and not necessarily to you ?

Does God put you in the background ? To this question, the answer is no, God does not accept anyone. On the other hand, it is his choices that differ from us. He is sovereign and chooses who he wants to accomplish what he desires.

He chose Joseph to bring the people of Israel into Egypt and thus preserve him from famine, "It is to save your life that God has sent me before you ..." Genesis 45: 5.

He chose John the Baptist to be "the voice of one crying in the wilderness" John 1:23.

He set aside the apostle Paul to be his international spokesman. "This man is an instrument that I have chosen, to bear my name before the Gentiles, before the kings, and before the children of Israel." Acts 9:15.

In fact, I could continue the list by multiplying the examples. But my main goal is to get you to understand that God's choices for you are the best. He made a choice about you and this decision is directly related to what he wants to accomplish with you.

Of course, we always have the choice to say no! I do not accept this life you reserve me, I refuse! But why ? What is better for a child of God than to be in the full will of his creator ? "For I came down from heaven to do not my will, but the will of him that sent me." John 6:38.

Whatever your life today and your expectations of tomorrow, accept now God's choices for your life. This is by far the best decision you can make.

Father, may thy will be done in my life! In the name of Jesus. Amen.

"Dieu ne fait pas de favoritisme." Romains 2.11

Enfant, le midi à la sortie de l’école, j'avais pour habitude de raccompagner mes camarades devant chez eux afin qu'il puissent y déjeuner. Une fois cette tâche accomplie,  je me rendais  derrière le supermarché de notre quartier dans le but de  faire les poubelles. Bien souvent, en fouillant dans les ordures à la recherche d’un paquet de gâteaux ou de quelque chose que j'aurais pu grignoter, je me posais la question suivante : "pourquoi mes copains avaient de quoi manger et pas moi ?"

Et vous ? Vous arrive-t-il de ne pas comprendre pourquoi il vous arrive telle ou telle chose alors que d’autres en sont exemptés ? Pour quelles raisons la vie semble  sourire plus à certains et pas forcément à vous ?

Dieu vous fait-il passer au second plan ? À cette question, la réponse est non,  Dieu ne fait acception de personne. Par contre, ce sont ses choix qui diffèrent à notre égard. Il est souverain et il choisit qui il veut  pour accomplir ce qu'il désire.

Il a choisi Joseph pour faire entrer le peuple d’Israël en Égypte et ainsi le préserver de la famine, "C’est pour vous sauver la vie que Dieu m'a envoyé devant vous…" Genèse 45.5.

Il a choisi Jean-Baptiste pour être "la voix de celui qui crie dans le désert" Jean 1.23.

Il a mis à part l'apôtre Paul pour être son porte parole international.  "Cet homme est un instrument que j'ai choisi, pour porter mon nom devant les nations, devant les rois, et devant les fils d’Israël" Actes 9.15.

En fait,  je pourrais  continuer la liste en multipliant les exemples. Mais mon objectif avant tout est de vous amener à comprendre que les choix de Dieu à votre égard sont les meilleurs. Il a fait un choix vous concernant et cette décision est directement rattachée  à ce qu'il souhaite accomplir avec vous.

Bien sûr, nous avons toujours le choix de dire non !  Je n’accepte pas  cette vie que tu me réserves, je la refuse !  Mais pourquoi ?  Qu’y a-t-il de meilleur pour un enfant de Dieu que d’être dans la pleine volonté de son créateur ? "Car je suis descendu du ciel pour faire, non ma volonté, mais la volonté de celui qui m'a envoyé". Jean 6.38.

Quelles que soient votre vie d’aujourd’hui et vos attentes de demain, acceptez dès à présent les choix de Dieu pour votre vie. C'est de loin la plus belle décision que vous puissiez prendre.

Une prière pour aujourd’hui

Père,  que ta volonté soit faite dans ma vie !  Au nom de Jésus.  Amen.

Mwaka 1999, Mungu alizungumza wazi kwa mke wangu na mimi: ametutaka kwenda shule Biblia iko katika bara jingine. Tulikuwa na furaha, msisimko na hamu ya kuona nini Bwana alikuwa katika duka kwa ajili yetu! mipango yote tulikuwa maendeleo walikuwa kuwa kizamani. Bwana aliuliza yetu hatua halisi ya imani.

Mungu anataka uwe na uwezo wa kukamilisha mipango yake.

Ilikuwa Adventure na mji mkuu wa "A". Akiba mwembamba sana, hakuna mawasiliano huko, mwanafunzi visa rahisi hairuhusu me kufanya kazi. hadithi aliahidi kuwa vigumu lakini ni pamoja na mengi ya changamoto. Mara baada ya hisia ya ruzuku, I uzoefu uzoefu wa ajabu. Amelala kitandani mwangu, nilikuwa na hisia ya kuruka mbali, na tangu huko, kugundua safari kwamba awaited yangu. Labda unaona mipango ya Mungu muhimu sana na wewe ? Naam, wewe ni sahihi! Ndio maana wewe dhahiri haja ya uwezo wake. Ombeni kuuliza Bwana kwamba mkono wake wa kulia ni juu yenu. Mungu miradi ya zaidi ya wewe, ni kubwa kuliko wewe, hivyo kwa madai kuingilia yake.

Mungu anataka uwe na uwezo wa kukamilisha mipango yake. Kama leo wewe kujisikia ndogo mno - na hisia hii ni haki - Bwana ni saa upande wako kukupa upako muhimu. Kila kitu huja kutoka kwake.

Maombi kwa ajili ya Leo

Bwana, mipango ya kwamba una kwa ajili yangu ni kubwa mno, mimi hujisikii uwezo. Kwa Roho wako, nipe uwezo wa kufuata matakwa yako, amina.

"I do not say that we are capable of conceiving of ourselves as if it came from us, but our capacity, on the contrary, comes from God." 2 Corinthians 3.5

In 1999, God spoke clearly to my wife and me: He asked us to go to a Bible school on another continent. We were so happy, excited and eager to find out what the Lord had in store for us! All the plans we had drawn up had lapsed. The Lord asked us for a true step of faith.

God wants you to be able to fulfill His plans.

It was the Adventure with a big "A". Very thin savings, no contact on site, a simple student visa not allowing me to work. It was a difficult story, but it had a lot of challenges. Once the emotion had subsided, I experienced a strange experience. Lying on my bed, I felt as if I were flying away, and from up there, to discover the journey that awaited me. All of a sudden I measured the extent of the journey and its complications. A thrill of anguish invades my whole being. After having wished to leave to serve God, fear now hugged my heart and this question which tormented my mind : "Am I to be up to this expedition ?" Fortunately, from that day when I panicked until today, Hui, the hand of the Lord has always been stretched out to help and help us. The Lord is faithful, he does not forsake the one who trusts in him. What he begins in our life, he accomplishes perfectly.

Perhaps you find God's plans too important to you ? Well, you're right ! This is why you undeniably need its power. Pray asking the Lord that his good hand be upon you. The plans of God surpass you, they are greater than you, and therefore call for his intervention.

God wants you to be able to fulfill His plans. If today you feel too small - and this feeling is justified - the Lord stands by your side to give you the necessary anointing. Everything comes from him.

A prayer for today

Lord, the plans you have for me are too great, I do not feel capable. By your Spirit, give me the capacity to follow your will, amen.

"Je ne dis pas que nous soyons capables, par nous-mêmes, de concevoir quelque chose comme si cela venait de nous. Notre capacité, au contraire, vient de Dieu." 2 Corinthiens 3.5

En 1999, Dieu parla clairement à mon épouse et moi-même : Il nous demanda de partir dans une école biblique se trouvant sur un autre continent. Nous étions tellement heureux, excités et impatients de découvrir ce que le Seigneur avait en réserve pour nous ! Tous les plans que nous avions élaborés devenaient caducs. Le Seigneur nous demandait un véritable pas de foi.

C’était l’Aventure avec un grand “A”. Des économies très minces, pas de contact sur place, un simple visa étudiant ne m’autorisant pas à travailler. L’histoire s’annonçait difficile mais comportait un lot de défis importants. Une fois l’émotion retombée, je vécus une étrange expérience. Allongé sur mon lit, j’ai eu l’impression de m’envoler et, depuis là-haut, de découvrir le périple qui m’attendait. D’un seul coup, je mesurais l’ampleur du voyage et ses complications. Un frisson d’angoisse envahit alors tout mon être. Après avoir désiré partir pour servir Dieu, la crainte étreignait désormais mon cœur et cette question qui tourmentait mon esprit : “serais-je à la hauteur dans cette expédition ?” Fort heureusement, depuis ce jour où j’ai paniqué jusqu’à aujourd’hui, la main du Seigneur a toujours été tendue pour nous secourir et nous aider. Le Seigneur est fidèle, il ne délaisse pas celui qui se confie en lui. Ce qu’il commence dans notre vie, il l’accomplit parfaitement. 

Peut-être trouvez-vous les plans de Dieu trop importants pour vous ? Eh bien, vous avez raison ! C’est pourquoi vous avez indéniablement besoin de sa puissance. Priez en demandant au Seigneur que sa bonne main soit sur vous. Les projets de Dieu vous dépassent, ils sont plus grands que vous, c’est pourquoi réclamez son intervention. 

Dieu désire vous rendre capable d’accomplir ses plans. Si aujourd’hui vous vous sentez trop petit - et ce sentiment est justifié - le Seigneur se tient à vos côtés pour vous donner l’onction nécessaire. Tout vient de lui.

Une prière pour aujourd’hui
Seigneur, les plans que tu as pour moi sont trop grands, je ne me sens pas capable. Par ton Esprit, donne-moi la capacité nécessaire pour suivre ta volonté, amen.

Kuna miaka, kijana alikuwa na kuanguka na kuchunga goti. Ilionekana wapole, lakini badala ya uponyaji, goti uliongezeka chungu na kuanza kuvimba. daktari kuitwa mashauriano hakuwa kutia moyo sana : "Mimi hofu kwamba sisi ni wajibu wa kukatwa mguu wake." Na homa bado rising alionekana kukubaliana na uchunguzi hii ya kusikitisha.

Mungu siku zote kazi kwa ajili ya faida yetu.

Hiyo ni wakati familia ya mgonjwa vijana aliamua kurejea kwa Mungu. Baba, mama na ndugu akawa washirika maombi ya dhati na kuomba Mungu ili kuokoa mtoto mgonjwa.

asubuhi iliyofuata, daktari mara inafanyika kwa kutafuta kuwa uvimbe kutoweka na mgonjwa kulala kama kawaida. Wiki tatu baadaye, kijana anaweza kutembea tena, Mungu alikuwa amemponya. Hii kijana aitwaye Daudi Dwight Eisenhower. Yeye kuwa rais ya 34 wa Marekani Novemba 4, 1952.

Gospel inatuambia : "Ombeni nanyi mtapokea." Watu wengi wanaweza kutoa ushahidi wa ukweli wa maneno haya. Mungu siku zote majibu, hata kama inaonekana si, hasa wakati haina usikilize sala zetu kama sisi unataka.

Mungu siku zote kazi kwa ajili ya faida yetu wenyewe, lakini hatuwezi daima kujua nini ni nzuri yetu. Tuna imani yake kuomba kwa uvumilivu na kwa uhakika kwamba kujibu. Tuna bora. Mapenzi yake ni nzuri na yenye kukubalika na makamilifu.

Maombi kwa ajili ya Leo

Asante Bwana. imani yangu kukua milele zaidi na wewe ! Nipe leo ili kuweka kwa kazi ili niweze kuona utukufu wako na uaminifu wako. Amina !

"But without faith it is impossible to be pleasing to him, for he who comes near to God must believe that God exists, and that he is the rewarder of those who seek him." Hebrews 11.6

Years ago, a young boy fell and rubbed his knee. It did not seem serious, but instead of healing, the knee became more and more painful and began to swell. The doctor called in consultation was not reassuring: "I'm afraid we have to cut his leg." And the fever that was still rising seemed to justify this sad diagnosis.

God always acts for our good.

It was then that the family of the young patient decided to turn to God. Father, mother and brothers joined in fervent prayers and begged God to save the sick child.

The next morning the doctor was astounded to find that the swelling was disappearing and that the patient was sleeping normally. Three weeks later, the young boy could walk again, God had healed him. This young boy was called David Dwight Eisenhower. He became the 34th President of the United States on 4 November 1952.

The Gospel tells us : "Ask and you shall receive." Many people can bring evidence of the truth of these words. God always answers, even if it seems to us not, and especially when he does not pray as we wish.

God always acts for our good, but we do not always know what is our good. We must trust him to pray with perseverance and with the certainty that he will respond. He reserves the best for us. His will is pleasant and perfect.

A prayer for today

Thank you Lord. May my faith grow more and more with you ! Give me today to put it to work so that I can see your glory and your fidelity. Amen !

"Or sans la foi il est impossible de lui être agréable, car il faut que celui qui s’approche de Dieu croie que Dieu existe, et qu’il est le rémunérateur de ceux qui le cherchent." Hébreux 11.6

Il y a des années, un jeune garçon fit une chute et s’écorcha le genou. Cela semblait sans gravité, mais au lieu de se guérir, le genou devint de plus en plus douloureux et se mit à enfler. Le docteur appelé en consultation ne fut pas rassurant : "J’ai peur qu’on soit obligé de lui couper la jambe." Et la fièvre qui montait toujours semblait donner raison à ce triste diagnostic.

C’est alors que la famille du jeune malade décida de se tourner vers Dieu. Père, mère et frères s’associèrent dans de ferventes prières et supplièrent Dieu de sauver l’enfant malade.

Le lendemain matin, le docteur fut stupéfait en constatant que l’enflure disparaissait et que le malade dormait normalement. Trois semaines plus tard, le jeune garçon pouvait marcher de nouveau, Dieu l’avait guéri. Ce jeune garçon s’appelait David Dwight Eisenhower. Il devint le 34ème président des Etats Unis le 4 novembre 1952.

L'Évangile nous dit : "Demandez et vous recevrez." De nombreuses personnes peuvent apporter des preuves de la vérité de ces paroles. Dieu répond toujours, même s’il nous semble que non, et surtout lorsqu'il n’exauce pas notre prière comme nous le souhaitons. 

Dieu agit toujours pour notre bien, mais nous ne savons pas toujours ce qui est notre bien. Nous devons lui faire confiance le prier avec persévérance et avec la certitude qu’il répondra. Il nous réserve le meilleur. Sa volonté est bonne agréable et parfaite.

Une prière pour aujourd'hui

Merci Seigneur. Que ma foi grandisse toujours plus avec toi ! Donne-moi aujourd'hui de la mettre à l'œuvre afin que je puisse voir ta  gloire et ta fidélité. Amen !

Kwa nini Mungu anataka sisi kuishi kwa amani na watu wote ? Kwa sababu tatu migogoro kutatuliwa na kuleta athari kubwa kwa maisha yako.

Kwanza, wanaunda kikwazo cha uhusiano wako na Mungu. Wakati kutokubaliana na wengine, huwezi kuwa sawa na Mungu. Wakati wewe ni aliwasihi wakati wewe ni katika mgogoro na wengine, huwezi kuwa na uhusiano mzuri na Mungu. Biblia inasema : "Na kama mtu akiwaambia : 'Mimi kumpenda Mungu', wakati yeye anachukia ndugu yake, huyo ni mwongo." 1 John 4.20

migogoro haitaweza kutatua yenyewe.

Kisha migogoro kutatuliwa kuzuia maombi yako. Mara kwa mara Biblia inasema kwamba kuna mgogoro, dhambi na kukosekana kwa amani katika maisha yako, ni inazuia maombi yako.

Hatimaye, migogoro kutatuliwa kudhoofisha furaha yako. Huwezi kuwa wa furaha na migogoro. Wakati mgogoro kati mlango mlango, furaha nje ya mlango wa nyuma.

Je, si unataka kujikwamua migogoro katika maisha yako ? kuanzia kwa ajili ya utatuzi wa migogoro yoyote ni kuchukua hatua. Usisubiri mtu mwingine kuja kwenu; kwenda kwake. Mtu anayefanya amani.

Usipuuze migogoro. Je, si kukana kuwepo kwa migogoro. Wala kupiga mswaki migogoro chini ya carpet. Je, habari kujieleza: "muda unavyopita ndivyo kila kitu" ? Hii haina maana kubwa. Muda unavyopita ndivyo chochote !

Kwa kweli, hali ya hewa alifanya mambo mabaya. Wakati una jeraha wazi na huwezi kutibu, yeye kuoza. Anger zamu kwa chuki na chuki zamu katika uchungu.

migogoro haitaweza kutatua yenyewe. Lazima makusudi kukabiliana.

Ni watu ujasiri kutatua migogoro. Labda jambo bravest unaweza kufanya ni kukabiliana na tatizo una kupuuzwa kwa muda mrefu katika ndoa yako, watoto wako, pamoja na wafanyakazi wako, bosi wako au mtu mwingine yeyote.

Mahali pa kupata ujasiri wa kukabiliana na yeye? Kupata ni kwa Mungu.

Biblia inasema katika 2 Timotheo 1.7 : "Kwa kweli, hii si roho ya woga kwamba Mungu alitupa, bali ya nguvu, upendo na hekima." Hii ina maana kwamba kama wewe basi Roho Mtakatifu kujaza maisha yako, utakuwa kujazwa na nguvu, upendo na hekima. Na upendo wa Mungu anaweza kuushinda hofu.

Je, kuna tatizo katika moja au zaidi ya uhusiano wako wewe kuchagua kupuuza ? Juu ya fedha ? Imani ? wakwe ? familia ? Watoto ? Mawasiliano ? Baadhi ya thamani ? Kazi masaa ? Utafanya nini leo kuchukua hatua ya kutatua migogoro hii ?

"Indeed, it is not a spirit of timidity that God has given us, but a spirit of strength, love and wisdom." 2 Timothy 1.7

Why does God want us to live in peace with everyone ? Because unresolved conflicts have three devastating effects on your life.

First of all, they form an obstacle to your communion with God. When you disagree with others, you can not be in harmony with God. When you are distracted, when you are in conflict with other people, you can not have a good connection with God. The Bible says : "If anyone says : 'I love God', then he hates his brother, he's a liar." 1 John 4:20

The conflict will not resolve on its own.

Then, unresolved conflicts hinder your prayers. Time and time again the Bible says that when there is conflict, sin and lack of harmony in your life, it hinders your prayers.

Finally, unresolved conflicts hinder your happiness. You can not both be happy and in conflict. When the conflict enters through the front door, happiness comes out through the back door.

Do not you want to get rid of conflicts in your life ? The starting point for resolving any conflict is to take the initiative. Do not wait for the other person to come to you; Go to her. Be the peacemaker.

Do not ignore the conflict. Do not deny the existence of the conflict. Do not sweep the conflict under the carpet. Have you heard the phrase : "Time heals everything" ? It's a big absurdity. Time does not heal !

In fact, time is only getting worse. When you have an open wound and you do not treat it, it gangrene. Anger turns into resentment and resentment turns into bitterness.

The conflict will not resolve on its own. You must intentionally face it.

Only courageous people solve conflicts. Perhaps the most courageous thing you can do is confront a problem that you have ignored for a long time in your marriage, with your children, with your employees, your boss or anyone else.

Where to find the courage to confront him? You get it from God.

The Bible declares in 2 Timothy 1: 7 : "For it is not a spirit of timidity that God has given us, but a spirit of strength, love and wisdom." This means that if you let the Spirit of God fill your life, you will be filled with strength, love and wisdom. And the love of God overcomes fear.

A question for today

Is there a problem in one or more of your relationships that you choose to ignore ? About finance ? Trust ? In-laws ? The family ? Children ? Communication ? Some values ? Work schedule ? What are you going to do today to take the initiative to resolve these conflicts ?
